application. Many factors go into an acceptance decision by medical
schools, among the your MCAT score, GPA, and state of residence.
Private medical schools like Stanford, Harvard or the University
of Chicago medical school put much less emphasis on state of residence.
There are also many other important factors that go into the decision
that have nothing to do with MCAT scores or GPA. Some of these include:
your application essay, your life experiences, your personal background,
and the needs of the particular medical school.
